Who We Are and What We Believe In

Warholic Family Labs is a reputable family breeder of AKC American Labradors. Established in 2012, we take immense pride in not only our breeding practices but the care of each of our dogs and puppies. Every puppy is raised in our own home, under our own care and watchful eye. We are very selective in every aspect of the breeding process to ensure the very best bloodlines. We are equally as selective in our homing process to ensure that our pups are going to forever homes where they will be treated as members of the family.

Our puppies are raised in a large personalized whelping area inside of our home. We do not keep them in kennels and we do not keep them outdoors. Our Labrador Retriever puppies are provided with love and individual care from the moment they are born until they leave our premises for their forever homes, allowing them to grow into sociable, highly trainable and very affectionate Labradors.

How We Got Started…..

It was all for our Love of Labradors — And Honey!

“How did you you get started?” It’s a question that we get asked quite often, and we sometimes don’t really think that people expect the answer that we give, but this honestly wasn’t our plan at all.

It all started with Honey. Our first and oldest Labrador. We loved her from the moment we laid eyes on her all those years ago. After a couple of years, we decided that we were ready to grow our Warholic Labrador Family. Honey is such an amazing, well-tempered dog. She has such an awesome personality, that we decided we wanted another Labrador, but we wanted one just like her! But how could we ensure that our next dog would turn to have the same demeanor? So we started looking and looking but honestly, she couldn’t be duplicated. This then led us in a different direction. We started working with a couple of breeding mentors to help up in our new journey. We found a very mild-mannered sire and took the steps to breed Honey. And it began—

We had our first litter, which was where we got Roxy. We didn’t really expect to continue from there it kind of snowballed. We started getting emails and phone calls from friends of our new families, telling us how beautiful these little babies were, what amazing personalities they had and asking when our next litter would be. We hadn’t quite thought about it — it wasn’t really what we had planned. We knew how much love, joy and happiness Honey, and now Roxy, brought to our lives. We now saw the smiles and light that these new little puppies brought to their families and we decided that since we had such a high interest, we would have another litter, and then well - you get the idea…. here we are!
